When traveling to Greece, you should fly into Athens (ATH airport code). Hydra is about an hour ferry ride from the port of Piraeus. Paros is about a three (3) hour ferry ride.

We have found that we prefer to transfer flights while still in the USA, as it avoids going through separate customs.

When shopping for flights, we have found flights.google.com is the best place to locate all available flights.

If you plan to join us in Paros, please be sure that you are booking accommodations in PARos, not PORos. Note, Paros is the island we are going to visit after Hydra, but Poros is the island next to Hydra.

The island of Hydra is a beautiful, relaxing, and picturesque island in the Saronic Sea. On Hydra, there are no cars or motorized vehicles. You get around by walking, donkey, horse, or water taxi. The main town is a crescent-shaped harbor lined with 18th-century mansions, captains’ houses, and marble-paved alleyways. The rugged hills, crystal-clear waters, and secluded beaches are why we fell in love with Hydra.

Our reception will be an approximately 7 to 10 minute walk from your hotel in the main town. The view from the reception will overlook the Saronic Sea and host a beautiful view of the sunset.

Jimmy and Flower fell in love with the island of Paros because of the amazing Mediterranean water, excellent beach clubs, amazing food, and stunning views. The classic Greek style is stunning. You will have no problems relaxing in Paros! It is no wonder, Paros was voted best island in the world in 2025.

Paros is located in the heart of the Cyclades, in the southern Aegean Sea. Known for its stunning beaches and traditional whitewashed villages, it offers a blend of relaxation and adventure, with quaint fishing villages, historic sites, and endless coastlines.
